PINK OUT SUNDAY:

Breast Cancer Awareness Sunday

Sunday, October 12, 2025 

Pink Sunday is dedicated to honoring and supporting Breast Cancer survivors, women who are currently undergoing treatment and and those who have lost loved ones to this disease. October reminds us to schedule our annual mammogram and the importance of monthly self-examination.  All are encouraged to wear something pink.   

 

You can also get breast cancer screenings at these locations:

• Langston Hughes: October 1–3 | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• Lutheran Hospital: October 15 | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• Hillcrest Hospital: October 16 | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; October 29 | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Important: 

Screenings are available to everyone, whether or not you have insurance. If you have insurance, you may use it. If you don’t, visit Minister Kim Dennis in the foyer at Imani North after service this Sunday for a referral.

Each woman is asked to bring a $5 gift in a gift bag. This will be used for one of our activities. Do not put your name on the gift or bag.

IMANI TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY:

Sunday Van Transportation to Sunday worship service. Must call the church for pickup by Wednesday, 5:00 PM each week.  Call 216-732-8204 to schedule your pickup.  Must live within a 4-mile radius of the church.
